STDs (Sexually Transmitted Diseases)
Gonorrhea (gon-o-re-uh)(VD/The Clap)
Gonorrhea is a bacterial infection that is spread the same way as Chlamydia is. It also can enter the body through the mouth, bladder system or anus and could travel through the body and cause a severe infection in other areas like the joints, especially the knee. Over half a million people are infected with this every year. You will know you have Gonorrhea because of pain, discharge and sometimes a fever in both men and women. It can cause the same problems of PID, infertility and ectopic pregnancy in women.
